How to get your Instagram data export

→Instagram app → Settings → Accounts Center → "Your information and permissions"
→Export your information → Create export → Export to device
→Tap "Customize information" → Ensure "Followers and following" is checked
→Tap "Format", click JSON → Tap "Data range", click All time (important) → Tap "Start export"
→Wait for Insta's email (usually a few mins) → download the ZIP → upload below

EZ Checks works reliably — but the most common hiccup is missing this step: tap "Data range" and select All time. A partial date range is the #1 reason results come back incomplete.

Nope! We never ask for your login credentials, and there's no connection to your Instagram account whatsoever.

Nope! Your ZIP file is read locally on your device and never transmitted or stored anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.

That's totally fine! EZ Checks only looks for the followers and following data inside your ZIP, ignoring everything else.

Instagram prepares the file on their servers and depending on how much data your account has, it can take anywhere from a minute to a few hours. Usually just a few minutes. You'll get an email from Instagram when it's ready.
